It is not enough to check that the main page opens before launching. The visitor needs to be able to quickly find information, read text and use the form - on a phone, keyboard or other device.

01Loading speed

Be aware of heavy images, redundant scripts, slow font loading and server response time. Web Vitals evaluate page loading, interactivity, and visual stability.

Good engagement benchmarks are LCP under 2.5 seconds, INP under 200 milliseconds, and CLS under 0.1. They are evaluated based on actual visits separately for mobile and desktop devices.

02Accessibility for users

The site must also be user-friendly for people who do not use a mouse or read the page with a screen reader. Check that the focus is visible when navigating the keyboard, that the form fields have clear captions and that the text contrast is sufficient.

Minimum testing
  • Buttons, menus and the form work from the keyboard.
  • Content images have text descriptions.
  • Form errors are clear explained.
  • Text does not get lost on a small screen.

03What to test before launch

One test will not show all problems. Check key pages on phone and desktop, and look at field data after launch. Test menus, buttons, search, and form submissions separately - these are the scenarios that most often lead to referrals.

At Cligora, we test load speed and core pre-launch scenarios to find issues before customers.
